Dr. Marjan Orang

With over 15 years of teaching experience and a PhD in Economics from North Carolina State University, Marjan is passionate about helping students build confidence, develop practical skills, and become independent thinkers. Her teaching combines real-world problem solving, teamwork, and leadership development to prepare children for success in school and beyond.

Maryam Orang

Principal Educator

Maryam Owrang has twenty years of experience in computer science and engineering, developing electronics and software products that have reached tens of millions of people across North America for well-known brands such as Amazon, Ring, Sony, Samsung, Comcast, and Verizon. Most recently, she has worked as a technical program manager at Amazon, evaluating and mentoring peers and engineering teams on leadership skills.

At Think, Build, Lead, Maryam’s philosophy is to instill curiosity and problem-solving abilities in children, enabling them to become thoughtful and capable innovators. She holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering and brings over ten years of experience teaching engineering, science, and math to a wide range of age groups. Her teaching approach centers on using the power of storytelling to inspire and empower students to tackle challenges with confidence.
